The Musicians

Clément Batrel-Genin began his studies in music with violin and viola. His education was supplemented by harmony, orchestration and conducting classes. In 2013 he integrated Jean Sulem’s viola studio at the Conservatoire de Paris. He has benefited from the advice of outstanding musicians such as Nobuko Imai, Atar Ard, Wieland Kuijken and members of Alban Berg and Ysaÿe Quartets. He has been selected for prestigious programs such as the Seiji Ozawa International Academy Switzerland and the Gustav Mahler Jugendorchester. A member of the Onslow Quartet with which he pursued an intense career in France and Europe, he also appeared in renowned concert halls such as the Philharmonie de Paris, the Musikverein in Vienna, the Victoria Hall in Geneva or the Severance Hall in Cleveland.

Solène Chevalier, cello, studied in Boulogne-Billancourt CRR with Michel Strauss for two years. She obtained a Bachelor of Music in 2012 from the Royal College of Music with Thomas Carroll. She graduated from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama with a Master of Performance with Distinction in Pierre Doumenge’s class. She then pursued an Artist Fellowship there for a year. She is now a member of the Orchestre des Lauréats du Conservatoire in Paris and is simultaneously studying barqoue cello with David Simpson in Paris Conservatoire.

Léo Marillier, violinst, earned his Bachelor and Masters with the highest distinction from the Paris Conservatory and NEC in Boston, thanks to a scholarship from the Florence Gould Foundation. Invited by numerous festivals in Europe, America, and Korea, he participated in the Aspen Music Festival on a full scholarship. Also a composer, he is edited by Delatour.
