Ensemble Calliopée | “Les États-Unis, Terre d’accueil” #1

The FEU is delighted to announce the artistic residency of Ensemble Calliopée at the FEU this year. They will present two concerts on the theme of the United States as a “Welcoming Land”, as well as several outreach concerts in Parisian hospitals and for schoolchildren. This residency was made possible thanks to the support of the Mairie de Paris. This first concert highlights the the United States history of welcoming immigrants. The intense relations that the “New World”, born of the mixture of cultures, and the “Old Continent” of Europe have always maintained have nourished mutual influences, from Mozart’s famous librettist to contemporary creations.
