250 years of American Independence celebrated with a grand orchestra performing new and classic franco-american compositions.
On the occasion of the 250th anniversary of American independence, the Fondation des États-Unis, Les Déconcertants, and Le Hall de la chanson are joining forces to present a program entirely dedicated to American music. Conceived as a celebration of the artistic and cultural ties between France and the United States, this festive July 4th concert will showcase a rich and accessible repertoire performed by talented artists.
The program will open with a tribute to Josephine Baker, an emblematic figure of Franco-American friendship, a committed artist, and an icon of freedom whose life and legacy continue to symbolize the dialogue between the two cultures.
The concert will then continue with landmark works by American composers for string orchestra, highlighting the diversity and vitality of American musical creation.
Designed to be both welcoming and accessible, this event offers an opportunity to come together in celebration through music. Through this unique collaboration between the Fondation des États-Unis, Les Déconcertants, and Le Hall de la chanson, the concert aims to foster artistic dialogue and celebrate the enduring friendship between France and the United States.
