✷ The director - Laura Woody

Born and raised in Indianapolis, Indiana, Laura began performing at just three years old, lending her voice and image to commercials, museum installations, and industrial films. She later studied theatre at Chicago College of Performing Arts, earning a B.F.A. with honors in 2001, before moving to the West Coast and eventually Los Angeles, where she performed in local bars and music venues.

Paris called in 2005. She studied at the École Internationale de Théâtre Jacques Lecoq (2006–2007) and, after years of working as a nanny, waitress, secretary, translator, and musician, decided to turn her artistic side projects into a full-time career.

Today, she performs music with The Barettes (Bad Stone/Gum Tapes), improvises with The Improfessionals and New, the Improvised Musical, and works in theatre with the Big Funk Company. She is currently appearing in Cléopâtre, la Reine Louve, directed by Eric Bouvron, while also working in film, radio, and television.
