The spaces

• (1) The Grand Salon

  The Grand Salon, which hosts the FEU’s cultural season, is regularly rented for conferences, lunches, buffet dinners, concerts, and film shoots. Decorated with a remarkable series of frescoes listed as a historic monument by the Franco-American artist Robert La Montagne Saint-Hubert, it is equipped with a Steinway concert piano and overlooks the FEU’s rose garden.

  The garden may be rented for professional receptions (lunches, dinners, cocktails) in conjunction with the rental of the Grand Salon. The Fondation des États-Unis can provide technical equipment for hire, including spotlights, removable screens, a sound-equipped lectern, a sound system, and microphones. Clients may also install their own technical equipment. It is strongly recommended to come with a technician or to request technical services.

  In the case of a rental for a concert or musical filming, the intervention of a piano tuner will be charged.

• (2) Balcony of the Grand Salon

  From October to June, the balcony of the Grand Salon is reserved for exhibitions as part of our cultural program. However, it may be rented for small-scale receptions (with the exhibition remaining in place) or, when combined with the Grand Salon, as a press area, audience space, or filming location for an event.

• (3) The Chicago Salon

  The Chicago Salon is located next to the reception area. It is generally used as a meeting room, workspace, or classroom. Under certain conditions, it may be rented as a catering preparation area. The FEU offers projectors and removable screens for hire. It is also possible to bring your own technical equipment.

• (4) The Petit Salon

  The Petit Salon is an Art Deco meeting room opening onto the Grand Salon. It is often used as backstage for concerts and performances, or as an office/storage space during large conferences or film shoots. It may also be used as a classroom. The FEU offers projectors and removable screens for hire. It is also possible to bring your own technical equipment.

• (5) Classroom / Meeting room

  This new classroom/meeting room is equipped with tables arranged in an oval layout, but can be cleared upon request. The FEU offers projectors and removable screens for hire. It is also possible to bring your own technical equipment.

• (6) Multipurpose room

  This space can be adapted into a meeting room or classroom, host yoga, dance, or other sports and wellness activities, choir rehearsals, or serve as a cocktail/buffet area. Please feel free to contact us to discuss the feasibility of your event.

• (7) Music studios

  Two fully renovated, soundproof music studios are available for rental for minimum 2-hour slots, half-day, or full-day bookings. Each studio is equipped with a piano.

• (8) Study room

  The L-shaped study room is accessible 24/7 to residents. Rental is therefore exceptional, primarily for film shoots or book presentations and signings.

• (9) Office

  This space includes, year-round: a desk with a chair, a lamp, and a storage unit; a refrigerator; a round table with four chairs; a small round table; a large wardrobe; and a small table with a chair.
  The space is not accessible to persons with reduced mobility (PRM).

• (10) Appartement

  The apartment located on the 4th floor of the FEU is ideal for a short stay in the heart of Paris. It is intended primarily for visiting professors teaching in Paris. The apartment is not accessible to persons with reduced mobility (PRM).

  It includes:

  • Bathroom equipped with a shower, toilet, and sink

  • Spacious bedroom with a double bed and a workspace (chair, desk, lamp)

  • Main living area with a table, four chairs, a sofa, and a fully equipped kitchen (dishware, refrigerator, cooktop, storage cupboards)

  • Small balcony
