The HHW Endowment Scholarship

Applications close on January 31

Since 1933, the FEU has welcomed HHW scholarship recipients.

The funds for these scholarships were bequeathed by Harriet Hale Woolley to the FEU in the early 1930s. Every year, they are awarded to American artists and musicians, allowing them to deepen their practices in Paris. Since the arrival of its first group of residents in 1933, the FEU has provided scholarship recipients with an uninterrupted year dedicated to artistic creation, encounters, and inspiration, culminating in the chance to share their work with the public in the 5th Floor Scholar Series.
