Art & Sustainability at the FEU
Art & Sustainability is a two-month art exhibition dedicated to environmental sustainability and textiles. It will showcase naturally dyed, handmade works created by students from the University of Rochester and the École nationale supérieure des Arts Décoratifs (EnsAD), as well as a work by the winner of the Supima Design Lab.
The exhibition will highlight sustainable textile practices and international exchange between the United States and Paris.
✶ Featured Works
The exhibition will present collaborative works in the form of quilts and patchworks, including:
- patchwork squares created by students from EnsAD during workshops,using fabrics naturally dyed by students from the University of Rochester;
- a large collaborative quilt, as well as several smaller pieces, created by students from the University of Rochester;
- a work by the winner of the Supima Design Lab.
This exhibition is in collaboration with alumna Abbey Muza.
