Closing of the Common Threads exhibition
Sonic Tapestry is a concert curated in dialogue with the exhibition Common Threads by musicians Natalie Darst Xia and Jas Ogiste. Like fabric, music can at once be intrinsically delicate and texturally elaborate, bridge traditional and contemporary ideas, and sonically convey the passage of time. Musicians and Scholars of the 5th Floor will perform music by a diverse range of composers, thus mirroring through sound the roles of sustainability, cultural diplomacy, and legacy and their contributions towards a unified world.
