Who is Raha ?
Raha Sepehr is a multidisciplinary artist, born in 1989 in Iran, with extensive experience in writing, acting, and singing. She spent her childhood and adolescence in exile, transforming the hardships of migration into a source of inspiration through writing. At the age of 18, Raha made the courageous decision to return to her homeland, Afghanistan, where she pursued studies in Fine Arts.
Her cinematic journey began in Kabul with a leading role in the feature film The Girls of Kabul. In 2021, driven by the desire to live in a free society, Raha emigrated to France, where she continued her career as an actress and writer. Her poetry, published in both Persian and French, appears in collections such as The Cry of Afghan Women and Beyond the Darkness.
After enduring years of oppression due to her gender, Raha regained her freedom in France and began a professional singing career. Her long struggle against discrimination has shaped her identity as an activist, using her art to raise awareness and foster cultural growth within society. Raha Sepehr is a powerful voice, committed to the ideals of freedom and humanity, inspiring others through her artistic contributions and activism.
