I am an American documentary filmmaker and video producer, born in Russia, whose work explores cultural identity at the heart of conflict. From Moscow to Norman, Oklahoma, I discovered my passion behind the camera—giving a voice to stories left in the shadows. I filmed the PBS series Eyes of the Storm about Hurricane Ian, directed the award-winning documentary Still Ukrainian, developed television series with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, produced The Athlete’s Lounge, and covered the Paris and New York Fashion Weeks.
My early work in media with the NBA’s Oklahoma City Thunder sparked my interest in sports storytelling, which later led me to cover the Paris 2024 Olympic Games with NBC, earning a Sports Emmy.
I have filmed across Europe and the United States and am currently completing my year as a Mitchell Scholar in Dublin, Ireland, where I am documenting the country’s asylum system. From 2025 to 2027, I will pursue a Master’s degree in Film at Sorbonne Nouvelle as a France Excellence Scholar, during which time I will direct a feature-length documentary on artists in exile living in Paris in residence at the Fondation des États-Unis.
