Lindsie Katz

Lindsie Katz is a Paris-based violinist and violist specializing in both historical and modern performance. Originally from Colorado, she has performed regularly with ensembles across Europe and North America, including l’Orchestre de l’Opéra Royal de Versailles, Les Arts Florissants, Opéra Fuoco, Juilliard415, ARTEK, Silentwoods Collective, and the Baroque Chamber Orchestra of Colorado. Lindsie holds a Master of Music in Historical Performance from The Juilliard School, an Artist Certificate in baroque violin from the Royal Conservatoire The Hague, and a Master of Music in Violin Performance from the University of Colorado at Boulder. For the 2026–2027 year, Lindsie has been awarded the Harriet Hale Woolley Scholarship through the Fondation des États-Unis in Paris, where she will collaborate with an interdisciplinary cohort of artists and present a culminating project in May 2027. As a queer artist, Lindsie is committed to creating spaces that foster dialogue, connection, and meaningful change. Through performance, teaching, and community engagement, she seeks to model authenticity and invite others into a deeper relationship with themselves and each other through music. As a dedicated educator and mentor, she is passionate about cultivating inclusive, supportive learning environments where students can grow both musically and personally.
