About the Artists

Marcel Abadia grew up in Orange County California. He just started doing art in his second year of high school and while there was nominated as Artist of the year in 3D visual arts category. One of his works was nominated to be in the permanent collection of his high school. His artwork is more fantasy based and centered on creatures and monsters. Marcel would like to work in the movie or video games industry creating bizarre creatures. Sculptures and artworks in general tends to be centered on just the human figure, this is why Marcel works on monsters, to somewhat re-establish our childhood wonderous imagination.

Marius Buet was born in Suresnes in 1995. After studying literature in prep-school and at the Sorbonne, he attended the Ateliers de Sèvres to prepare his application to the Beaux-Arts, where he currently works in Joann Sfar’s Studio. His work explores the relationship between representation and narration through painting and illustration.

Fatima Cadet-Diaby is a playwright, director and producer from New-York who recently graduated from Mount Holyoke College, where she studied theatre and specialized in musical theater. During the summer, she worked as an intern at the Manhattan Theatre Club, Ars Nova Entertainment, The Musical Theatre Factory, Repertorio Español, and the New York Musical Theatre Festival. During her stay at the Fondation des Etats-Unis, she created The Lemonade Short Play Festival (the 10 Minute Play Festival in 2017) to showcase young talents in residence at the Cité internationale or living in Paris. You can follow her on her company page Loline Stage & Film.

Born in Angoulême in 1994, Laura Francese completed her BA in Art History and Archeology at the Ecole du Louvre. She is currently a student at the  Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs, where she is developing her interests in visual arts and design. It is her second year living in an art studio at the Fondation des Etats-Unis.

Maximilien Gremaud is born in France in 1994. After a first formation at the École des Beaux-Arts de Versailles he studied philosophy then history of art at the École du Louvre without stopping practice of painting and sculpture. He lives in a studio of the Fondation des États-Unis since October.

Born in 1997, Timothee Lambert began his artistic studies in thepreparatory class of ENSBA Lyon, before starting at the Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs. After photography and stage design, he went back to his childhood obsession: drawings, stories, and lettering. His current works are taken and composed from diaries, impulsive ideas, in order to become comfortable with them and to crate intimacy with the reader.

South Central LA native HB Reid is an artist for animation as well as a dancer and producer of electronic music for the KRUMP dance movement. He has obtained his bachelor’s in animation and is currently studying for a master’s in Paris France at Gobelins, l’École de l’image. He will graduate summer of 2019.  Justin’s ultimate goal is simply to have conversation with the world through the language of art. A conversation that both he and the world enjoyed.
