Ivan Ilic plays “For Bunita Marcus” by Morton Feldman | Concert preceded by a lecture by Rudolphe Bruneau-Boulmier

Ivan Ilić’s “Morton Feldman Trilogy” is the culmination of three years of research into Feldman’s life and work. The third and last part is the new recording of Ilić by For Bunita Marcus (1985), a masterpiece by Feldman, which will be released by Paraty/Harmonia Mundi in October. Ilić is the leader of a new generation of Feldman advocates who will take his music into the 21st century and beyond. Come discover For Bunita Marcus with Ivan Ilić at the release concert of the new CD on November 11 at the Fondation des Etats-Unis in Paris, where the American pianist will perform Feldman’s 70-minute masterpiece in its entirety. The concert will be preceded by a lecture on Feldman by the composer and presenter of France Musique, Rodolphe Bruneau-Boulmier.
