Independence Day Lunchtime Concert

Since 2016, the FEU has started organizing an informal lunchtime concert on July 4. This short concert (approximately 30 minutes) provides a lovely opportunity to bring together our audience, residents and staff from the Cité internationale before the summer break. This year, the concert will be given by vocal sextet Anything Goes followed by a lunch in the garden at 12h30. The vocal sextet Anything Goes was born in 2012 from beautiful encounters, human and musical, between the members of the group who share a passion for singing and jazz harmonies. Anne, Indré, Claire, François, Michaël and Alan meet once a week to create a polyphonic repertoire, always with the objective of accuracy, cohesion of voices, swing… and a good mood! The interns and residents will organize a light lunch in the garden. The €5 lunch menu will include sandwiches of your choice with a drink and a dessert; all proceeds will go to the FEU communal garden.

Program

A Tisket a Tasket (Nursery rhyme adapted by Van Alexander)

Walk betweek the raindrops (Donald Fagen; arranged for vocals by Michael Fellmann)
