The Fondation des États-Unis is delighted to host the 24 Hour Play Festival organized by two residents of the FEU, Fatima Cadet-Diaby et Ximena Salmeron, on March 25 -26. The workshop is reserved for theater students (free and mandatory registration) and will be in English and in French.
The Workshop Program
On Saturday afternoon of March 25th, a group of student-playwrights will gather to create brand-new plays. In this overnight event, they team-write brand new plays. Each play is created completely from scratch starting only when the writers arrive. On Sunday morning, teams of directors and actors arrive to stage the new plays. Actors and directors are met in the morning with these brand new, never-before-seen pieces and turn them into fully-staged performances with costumes, props and memorized lines. On Sunday evening, the world-premieres of these brilliant performances will be presented to the public of the FEU.
