The Art of Dreaming & Making Dreams in a Hospital Department | Medical Cultures

What place should be given to Art Therapy in the care of hospitalized children and adolescents? In the child and adolescent psychiatry department of the Pitié-Salpêtrière, patients are offered access to Plastic Arts practices. External speakers, in connection with the artistic field, are integrated into their management for the time of a federative, cathartic, vector of expression or simply occupational project. Among these projects is the graphic novel Mutants, Misunderstood People. This comic strip, the fruit of the collective work between the author and the patients over a year, was published in the magazine XXI, awarded at the Angoulême festival and will soon be exhibited at the EDF Foundation.
